What the coins buy

The Bug Tree runs from 200 coins at the first evolution to 75,000 coins at tier 7. Spending them on the wrong insect is the expensive mistake: the pages do not describe a refund. Housefly and Grasshopper are the only level-12 options, both 200. Black Widow is 450 off Housefly. See how to evolve before you spend the story-quest pile.

A route that follows the quests

  • Levels 1–10: orbs, ants, silk cocoons, the level 5 and level 10 story payouts (40 and 60).
  • Levels 10–20: Muddy Pond and Whispering Woods visits are themselves worth 40 and 50, then acorns at 100.
  • After that: stag beetles, golden cocoons, Web Caves, centipedes, and the 1,500-coin level-100 skill quest.

Egg clusters in the cave catalog are worth 20 coins and 240 XP each, and the story asks you to break three.

There is no working code that replaces this grind. The codes page is empty as of 2 Nov 2026. Boss XP is large, and the coin drop from the Emperor Scorpion is not in the public boss line, so I do not add a boss payout here.
