Bug Evolution Beginner Guide for Roblox

Your first hour in Bug Evolution is Garden Spider in Sunny Meadow: eat, pick one stat per level, and do not walk into a level-15 banner before you can pay for an evolution.

Minute one

  1. You spawn as Garden Spider. The passive is +10% XP from orbs. Health is 100, bite is 10, move speed is 16.
  2. Eat the small orbs and the ants, crickets, and caterpillars in Sunny Meadow. Ants are worth 10.5 XP with the in-game 1.5 multiplier from one catalog.
  3. Each level, pick one upgrade. Early on, speed keeps you out of larger bites.
  4. A level-8 hint points at evolution. You still need level 12 and 200 coins.

Where it is safe

Sunny Meadow has no level tag on its banner. Muddy Lake, called Muddy Pond in the story list, is level 8. Mushroom Grove is level 10. Whispering Woods is the first banner that says level 15, and it is also where the Emperor Scorpion fight starts. Grass, rocks, and the cave mouth are the hiding spots the area notes mention. Six nests are safe ground: four of them are for level 24 and under.

The first purchase

At level 12 you choose Housefly or Grasshopper. Both are 200 coins. Housefly flies and gains 8% XP from everything. Grasshopper jumps for half stamina. Pick Housefly if you keep dying on the ground. Pick Grasshopper if you want to bite and leave. You cannot refund the coins.

Mistakes that waste the hour

  • Running at a boss before you have coins for the level-12 evolution.
  • Sitting in Sunny Meadow long after level 15, where prey XP falls off.
  • Trusting a video title that says codes. The codes page is empty on purpose.
  • Buying a Robux insect before you know whether you like flying or jumping.

Questions

What should I upgrade first?

Speed, until you can leave a fight. Damage matters more once you are hunting beetles instead of ants.

When can I evolve?

Level 12 and 200 coins for either Housefly or Grasshopper. The adult level after that is 15.

Is there a private server for practice?

No. The public record does not offer private servers. You are in a 15-player server from the start.
